Who Punk'd Peter Rabbit?

Ava in line for the Easter bunny. Literally shaking in her ballet flats.

Ava when I told her we were next. That is not a look of excitement.

Cade in line...not being a "fraidy cat".

This was as close as Cade got to the bunny.

Ava when I told her the Easter bunny was coming!

  5. Those pictures are awesome. My friend's daughter is afraid of the Easter bunny, tooth fairy, and Santa Claus . . . and any other jovial mythical creature that comes at night when she's asleep. The thought of anybody coming into her house when she's asleep (whatever their benevolent motives) scares the hell out of her. In other words, she thinks Santa is a criminal.

She may not be too off-track . . . I always sort of thought those mall Santas and bunnies might actually be criminals.

  6. And PS - your comment on my Big T.I.T. post made me laugh hysterically. No, I have not done Michigan yet. Don't worry. It does suck an egg and I'm getting to it.

  7. When you think about it, it really is kind of mean what we do to these kids with all these larger than life characters and expecting them to want to go sit on their laps. This after teaching them not to talk to strangers and stuff. ;)

  8. Great captures! And Teeni nailed it. I never wanted my kids sitting on some otherwise unemployed man's lap. It's creepy. What if he sported some wood? Not good.Call it men bashing, but I've seen their work.

  9. ha ha ha!! That is reason #410 why I don't waste my time dragging my kids around, standing in line... because they'd do THAT and I'd be stuck in traffic with nothing to show for it. But the pics you got are totally worth it. Well, from my perspective anyway.

  10. Those are some great pictures. We have never tried to take TJ to get his pictures with Santa or the E.B. ...I know horrible mom...but hey...I know my kid and he could care less!

  15. Awwww! Those pictures are just too cute, their expressions say it all, don't they? You can see the wheels turning in their heads thinking, "OMG, a huge talking rabbit?? I'm outta here!".

Hope you had a nice Easter, and thanks for the sweet comments, I appreciate it!

  18. Bwahahaha! Those pictures are great. There's no shame in being afraid of the Easter Bunny. They actually used to have a person dressed in a bunny costume at the mall where I grew up in Texas. The one time my mom took me to sit on his lap, I screamed my freakin' head off! Much like the majority of my pictures with Santa, my Easter Bunny photos include a beet-red-faced me with tears streaming down my face. I don't take my kids to see the Easter Bunny.

  19. My son, Noah, can't stand the whole plushy peeps either. They totally freaked him out in Disneyland (even). I told him I couldn't stand clowns once and I think that did it for him. Hey, there are a lot of creeps in the circus..... Look what Tigger did in Disneyland (copping a feel, remember that one? He had a rap sheet). Anyway, those pictures are funny. Your kids are smart, they know that's not right. LOL
