Thanks *sob* Mom

Today I was talking to my mom who is really sick thanks to the germ warfare that my terrorists unleashed on her this weekend. Anyway, I was telling her about spinning Trixie in the dryer and my mom replied "Oh, I'm always really careful about that since...um never mind". Never mind? Oh hell no! You can't start a story and then just let it go. I am way to nosey for that! "Well remember that Siamese cat we had..Limerick? Well, umm..he didn't really run away. I found him in the dryer. Dead." That must have been like 26 years ago!!! My mom never said a word. I would love to be able to say it must have been her or my brother that did the poor cat in...but given recent "incidents"... I can't be too sure it wasn't me. She did bury him in my fave blanket...what does that mean? Did you bury him mom? Or was he in a garbage bag like Mutley?

  1. Oh my goodness... I thought you were going to say she put YOU in the dryer when you were a kid!!! haha! I remember my parents always being honest about what happened to our pets. My hamsters had babies once, and one of them fell out of the cage between the bars. My mom stepped on it while carrying laundry, and told me about it immediately. Eeeeeewwww....

  5. Oh .... I love how these stories of our pets come out from our moms so many years later! This was sad - but a funny story, because it is now so many years later that she will admit/tell the story. See ya.

  6. OMG! Maybe that is where my cat went too - my parents said that the 'dog catcher' came and got it because it was killing too many birds. I think my dad took it on an extended vacation. :)

  8. I'm sure she would have liked to put me in the dryer! However, I used to put myself in there when we played hide and seek. I never got found.
