Norm is not to be outdone. He has decided that since everything and everyone else is going to hell in a lovely hand basket he will tag along for the ride. Last week he decided to dine on the neighbor dogs feces. Apparently to dogs, another dogs crap is a delicacy. Who knew? Then for 2 days he vomited fecal matter in every room in the house. He also deposited his own fecal matter in several locations. The first night EVER that Ava only woke once, Norm woke times 4. The fourth time I threw his ass into the snow screaming. Which, I am pretty sure is what woke Ava her one and only time.
He has also eaten nearly all the play food from Ava's kitchen. Particularly devastating was the devouring of her little shrimp. They were her favorite. Then last night he choose to urinate all over the living room during family play time. He spent the rest of the evening in doggy lockup.
I'm beginning to think I'm just not a dog person.

OMG I have no words for what I would be like if my Norm did these things!
ReplyDeleteI can't stand it when dogs eat their crap and then barf it. Our dogs do it too. THEIR OWN crap... not others crap. (as if one was better than the other in the first place...gaaaag!) Dogs are retarded.
ReplyDeleteWhen it rains, it pours! Oh wait, bad cliche.
ReplyDeleteand i WAS starting to feel guilty that my boys do not have a dog. ah... i don't think so!
ReplyDeleteEven though I have a soft spot (on my brain?) for dogs, they do have mindlessly gross behaviours like you described. But they are always glad to see you, and if you can get past the smell of the dead things they rolled in, a great comfort as well.
ReplyDeleteWow. Just wow.
ReplyDeleteDo I really want a dog?
Um, I am suddenly starting to get it...Norm is just not Normal??? I think my dogs quiver in fear @ the thought of me coming out of the house in a rage should they be caught eating their crap!
ReplyDeleteLina
holy crap I cannot stop laughing...this is the best blogpost I have read in a very long time. (dabbing my eyes.) thank you so much...and i hope your poor little dog is feeling a lot more refreshed by now.
ReplyDeleteI am so not a dog person, especially not after reading this!!
ReplyDeleteBwahahahaha! Does Norm need a new home? And, no, I am not offering!
ReplyDeleteAaah, poor Norm! But, I would kill my dogs too. My cat has been having issues lately, eeeewww.
ReplyDeletewe had issues with our dog too. Hubby wants to get rid of him and we're beginning to get to the point where it's inevitable. I am thankful he is pretty good with her toys, there would be more than doggy jail going on up in here. Our dog also just rolls around in other's poop. It's so disgusting.
